Job Description:
The team here at builds wireless, satellite, 4G and broadband communication networks.
Our wireless communications systems encompass wireless microwave radios, Internet access, computers, routers, and related equipment.
Experience Technicians are needed to install new wireless radio customers, expand and maintain the complex networks relaying wireless signals.
Specific duties include:
- Responsible for mobilizing and de:
mobilizing Mobile Broadband Towers (MBT)and VSAT's onto Drilling Rigs sites.
Aim antenna, activate VoIP phones, and install intercom systems.
- Responsible for aiming and configuring all types of radios within the network along with switches, routers, and ATAs.
- Assist in tower upgrades, maintenance, or new installs as needed.
Some tower climbing may be required once the applicant has been Tower Certified Experience Requirements:
- Installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting of microwave radios - Working knowledge of wireless networks, telephony, VSAT, Broadband, or 4G installations, configuration, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Simple to advanced problem solving/troubleshooting skills for networks and communication technology.
- Self:
starter, with ability to complete a job in a timely manner.
Other
Qualifications:
- Must be able to climb ladders to install/service equipment, and work on roofs.
If able to climb towers is a plus, but not required.
- Must work on regularly scheduled days as well as unscheduled days, and beyond work hours, as required.
- Must be able to travel.
- Must have a clean Source:
