New Grads and Experienced Therapists Needed.
The Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA is responsible for assisting the Occupational Therapist carry out the care plans on the patients so that they can become as independent as possible in performing their daily living activities.
The Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA works under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
Requirements include:
Graduated from an accredited school and obtained an associate's degree as an COTA.
Has a current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant/ COTA or in the process of obtaining a state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant/ COTA.
Follows through on the treatment plan created by the Occupational Therapist.
Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to meet the goals of the patient.
