Mechanical Superintendent Position
Summary:
Essential Job Functions:
o Safely work in a potentially hazardous environment o Secure equipment and safely transport according to company policy and DOT regulations o Install and make repairs to oil and produced water tanks, including confined space entry o Dig pits and lines o Install and repair motors on equipment o Operate high pressure power washing equipment o Install and repairs piping, valves, pumps, motors o Install and repair pipelines o Repair dikes, perform general ground work around well sites o Perform access road upkeep and maintenance o Clean up oil spills o General cleanup and grounds & buildings maintenance o Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
o Must be proficient with hand and power tools as well as heavy equipment o Able to perform all tasks and responsibilities in a professional manner o Skilled in metal, mechanics or other labor crafts o Able and willing to be a team player and uphold a positive attitude o Able to work a minimum 12 hour shift daily.
o Able to follow instructions and communicate clearly o Knowledgeable and experienced in oilfield operations, preferred.
o List all required skills, knowledge and experience needed to do the Essential Functions listed above.
o An outright commitment to an honest, safe, quality work product is a must.
Minimum Requirements:
o High School Diploma, G.
E.
D.
or equivalent o Must be able to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
o 1 year minimum experience working in the Oilfield as a laborer or other field position, preferred.
o Computer skills commensurate with program and job applications.
Physical Demand/Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Work is usually done in outdoors and sometimes at a client facility or job site, and is frequently performed in inclement and/or extreme weather conditions.
The position supervises non-exempt, and contracted staff.
The employee is usually exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles and equipment.
