9K a year New Navarro Clinic Location! JOB SUMMARY In collaboration with a licensed physician, the advanced practitioner performs services in the practice of medicine.
The primary responsibility is to extend clinical services in the delivery of health care to the patients of the general surgery clinic.
Serves as the direct representative of the physician in conjunction with other disciplines and departments.
Job Specific:
In collaboration with General Surgery physicians, provides medical management in the ambulatory clinic and hospital settings for adults, including acute, general and preventative care.
(EF) Conducts physical examination, assesses patient health status including state of wellness and compliance with care plan, determines appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and prescribes appropriate medication regimen.
(EF) Provides oversight of pharmacological and exercise nuclear stress tests.
Completes appropriate documentation related to care of the patient.
(EF) Works in coordination and cooperation with hospital departments.
(EF) Completes chart review with collaborative physician and submits to manager upon completion by the end of each quarter.
(EF) Hospital:
Adheres to organization-wide and other applicable policies and procedures.
Day-to-day performance complies with the hospital's Service Excellence Behavioral Expectations.
Performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital's Ethics, Compliance and Confidentiality Program guidelines.
Performs within his/her professional Scope of Practice at all times.

Minimum Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant NP must have a registered nurse license, a Master of Science in Nursing degree and be certified by an agency approved by the ANA.
PA must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be certified by the state of Texas.
Maintain current license as FNP-C or PA-C in the state of Texas Ability to work closely with the Medical Director, clinic staff and manager Ability to maintain professionalism whenever dealing with patients or their families and when utilizing the hospital departments as needed to ensure continued care for patients PREFERRED:
