Technicians assist with modeling appropriate behavior, medication administration, transportation, and activities of daily living.
Applicants should be patient, reliable, and able to work independently.
Schedules are available for 24/7.
Shifts are very flexible and can accommodate students, second jobs, etc.
No experience necessary will provide training.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Be familiar with all policies and procedures, specifically with all policies regarding facility or client emergencies.
Provide direct care monitoring of clients of the facility with highest regard for the protection, safety, and welfare of the clients and the facility.
Provide client transportation in TREATMENT ASSOCIATES vehicles, as assigned by House Manager or designee.
Maintain accurate records of client behavior, especially when the counseling staff is off the premises.
Any rule violation will be documented on a Rule Violation Form.
Monitor whereabouts of each client at all times.
Maintain accurate records, using the Client Sign In-Sign Out Lot, periodically verifying client's location as indicated on the Sign In-Sign Out Log; conduct periodic daily census of residential clients.
Monitor any visitors in the facility, maintaining an accurate Visitors Sign In-Sign Out Log.
Ensure that any clinical issues regarding clients be referred to the Program Director and/or client's Counselor/Case Manager.
All other duties assigned by supervisor in accordance with professional development and client welfare.
Minimum Job
Qualifications:
Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent; Must provide authorization for a TCIC/NCIC background check, the results of which meet with any and all licensure and contractual requirements.
Prefer knowledge of chemical dependency; disease and recovery processes.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a treatment team and support staff in the interest of the client population and treatment milieu.
Must have verbal and written communication skills, must demonstrate people skills; prefer individuals who have at least one year experience working with special populations.
Individuals working towards licensure as LCDC preferred.
