2K - $117K a year INVISTA Victoria, TX facility is seeking entrepreneurial, innovative leaders to join our team as a Site Services Leader.
You will be directly responsible for the training coaching and mentoring of 10-15 employees and have oversight of approximately 80-100 nested contractors.
Our Team Our focus is to rapidly transform the Work Process (Planning and Scheduling), Contract Services, Rentals and Logistics, and Outage/Special Initiatives organizations through creative destruction and experimentation to drive excellence in performance through productivity and waste elimination that has a direct impact to Plant Operating Cost.
In addition, you will drive capability growth within your team and the shift teams maximizing integration that removes silos.
What You Will Do The Primary responsibility of this role is to deliver site bets, develop capability on shift, and integrate the team into the shift model to provide optimized (financial and skill) results.
Develop a deep understand of specific site bets, the operations vision, and devise a strategy on how to deliver.
Partner with Shift Asset Leaders (SAL's) to continuously review and adjust the work process improving operational performance of all aspects of maintenance on shift, day maintenance, and contractors.
Review current operation of tasks/work practices/work processes and develop or implement new strategies and tools that increase efficiency.
Foster the economic and critical thinking capacity within the team to drive decision rights to the appropriate level where the most value is created.
Ensure the teams are customer focused and engaged with the priorities of the site to support all aspects of Critical Relies, Maintenance and Projects.
Develop key performance Indicators (KPI's) for current work processes, identify constraints and barriers for a successful outcome.
Develop and sponsor an integrated Contract Services, Rentals and Logistics process with Maintenance, Operations, Projects, Reliability & EHS to optimize usage.
Provide governance of Contract Services, Rentals and Logistics and make measures visible to connect groups to performance.
Drive expectations, value creation, and results through partnering with our preferred partners and procurement.
Provide vision connection, leadership, development, and direction to the Outage Team Leader Determine what gaps exist and what skills are needed to meet initiatives for each work group.
Work with each team member to craft their individual role, responsibilities, and expectations.
Drive performance management and accountability within the team.
Develop a plan to meet five-year site bets with milestones and triggers of phased implementation.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 5
years within maintenance or operations coordinating, leading, or facilitating work.
interaction with work processes and lean manufacturing 3
years' experience of supervisory experience Experience leveraging tools and data to analyze costs, trends, and impact of downtime on the performance and profitability of the site.
Experience relative to computer and production reporting systems (i.
e.
, TRACK, SAP, KRONOS, etc.
) What Will Put You Ahead 3
years of project controls experience i.
e.
, planning, scheduling, and cost and experience in application of different contracting strategies.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field Current TWIC card holder or eligible to obtain one.
Physical Requirements Work schedule is subject to change with notification, depending upon business needs.
Additionally, must be available to work scheduled (Planned) or unscheduled (unplanned/short-notice hours on nights and/or weekends, holidays as needed), to meet business needs.
Required to wear any or all the following PPE:
safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, FRC, acid suits, breathing air, gloves, safety boots, respirators, ACR Flash suits, and encapsulated suits.
PPE use is in accordance with the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for a given task.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Ability to work in hot, cold, and inclement climate conditions.
Must be able to work in confined spaces with supplied breathing air and congested areas.
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, ladders on vessels and columns, ladders associated with scaffolds more than 80 feet.
