Overview:
Performs maintenance, repair and refurbishment of equipment at assigned shop with only general direction from leadership.
Essential Duties:
- Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment.
- Work with others to perform, Preventative Maintenance (PM), Major Maintenance (MM), and Overhauls.
- Completes and submits required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion.
Non-Essential Duties:
Performs other duties as assignedAll employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to:
- Perform all essential duties.
- Demonstrate proficiency in accurately and efficiently diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems on multiple compressor configurations.
- Show track record of performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) with no guidance.
- Perform Major Maintenance (MM) and Overhauls as part of a team.
- Demonstrate customer service skills.
- Read, write and speak English and /or fully understand daily work instructions (work orders, manuals, etc).
- Model all health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Complete and submit company required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of gas engines and compressors, electrical systems, basic understanding of panel boards, skid wiring, etc.
through Performance verification.
- Knowledge of new technologies.
- Working knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and regulations.
- Generally understands all processes and systems on how a compressor works.
Minimum Education and Certification:
- Preferred - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred - Gas or diesel engine and compressor school/training.
Minimum
Experience:
-Typically at least 3 years' experience with natural gas engines and compressor.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
