Job Description:
As a Residential Construction Laborer at Byars Construction, you will work alongside our Leads to assist in various construction tasks on residential projects.
From demolition to framing, drywall installation to finish carpentry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each project is completed efficiently and to our high standards of quality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performing general construction labor tasks, including lifting and carrying materials, demolition, and site cleanup.
Assisting Leads with various tasks, such as framing, drywall installation, painting, and finishing.
Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Following all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
Requirements:
Previous experience in residential construction or a related field required.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced tradespeople.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
