This American Automobile was name after the president of the Paige-Detroit Motor Car Co.

Only about 40,000 units were made, even though the Jewett was well liked.
By 1926 the Jewett was marketed as a Paige automobile.
The Jewett engine was called a thrifty six.
A powerful 249 cubic inch six cylinder was used in most Jewett cars and in other a smaller 152 cubic inch six was used.
In 1925 a Jewett Touring car sold for $995.

Sedans were $1465.

Special Jewett coupes sold for $1595.

Car looks and runs great.
My father has had this in his collection for about 10 years.
Nicely restored when he bought it.
He's done nothing to it but admired it and drive it on rare occasions.
mostly in the local parades with other cars in his collection.
He's got about 15! :
